A Hyper Box complex for Carrefour, by Majid Al Futtaim, retrofitted with a sustainable design approach. It is intended as a prototype for 100 boxes across the governorates, including logistics and administration buildings.
Sustainability solutions and techniques
- Sustainable MEP strategies, including greywater reuse networks and BMS control systems
- CO₂ instead of FM200 in machinery rooms where no human occupancy is required
- PV on the shade roofs and lamp posts to generate clean energy
- Natural gas as fuel for generators where available
